What are the approval and labelling requirements for telecom equipment in Algeria?
The commercialization of telecom and radio equipment in Algeria requires approval from either the ARPCE (Autorité de Régulation de la Poste et des Communications Électroniques) or the ANF (Agence Nationale des Fréquences), depending on the product type.
Both approval processes are similar; the main difference lies in the competent national authority responsible for issuing the certificate, based on the product category.
Under Executive Decree No. 26-97 (31 January 2026), equipment connected to a public electronic communications network requires ARPCE approval, while other radio installations are approved by ANF.

How to get CERT type approval in Tunisia?
In Tunisia, telecom and radio equipment type approval is issued by the CERT (Centre d'Études et de Recherche des Télécommunications). RT Solutions manages the full homologation process: documentation preparation, test report submission and certificate delivery.
