Qatar CRA Revises the National Frequency Allocation Plan

πŸ‡ΆπŸ‡¦ Qatar's Communications Regulatory Authority (CRA) has issued an updated Qatar National Frequency Allocation Plan (QNFAP), announced on 8 February 2026.

The revision aligns Qatar's spectrum allocations with the outcomes of the World Radiocommunication Conference 2023 (WRC-23) and the latest developments in radiocommunication services, following a public consultation with local, regional and international stakeholders.

The update covers the National Frequency Allocation Table (NFAT) as well as key annexes β€” including specific assignments, SRD frequency bands, frequency allotment plans, international agreements and harmonized bands β€” providing a transparent and predictable approach to spectrum management and reserving spectrum for future technologies.
